Job Opportunity: Data Scientist II
Our client in the Insurance industry is seeking a talented Data Scientist II to join their Advanced Analytics department.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies to drive business insights
- Create predictive models and algorithms to optimize decision-making processes
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns for actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in data science and analytics - 4 years minimum
- Proficiency in Python
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools
- Ability to work with large datasets and databases
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge in AI/ML
- Working experience with Databricks, Azure ML, and Azure Cloud
- Wroking experience with health claims data
- Generative AI experience is beneficial
- Medicaid or Managed Care experience is highly beneficial
