Job Description Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect and analyze IT requirements for Finance Applications in the insurance sector.
- Perform a thorough analysis of business needs and translate them into precise technical requirements. - Facilitate demand management processes, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers and business units to prioritize IT initiatives based on strategic objectives and resource availability.
- Manage IT project portfolios, ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT requirements, demand forecasts, and prioritization decisions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on demand status, project priorities, and resource constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and optimize resource allocation across multiple projects.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT demand management and portfolio delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience in developing an Insurance Finance Application target operating model.
- Ideally, experience working
- Proven experience (3-4 years) in IT requirements gathering, demand management, and portfolio planning within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proficiency in demand forecasting techniques and capacity planning methodologies.
- Experience with IT portfolio management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
- Understanding of financial applications and regulatory requirements within the insurance industry is preferred.
