Opportunity: Business Information Security Officer - Asia Pacific

Our client, a well-established leader in financial security and risk management, is seeking a highly skilled
Business Information Security Officer (BISO) for the Asia Pacific region to enhance their Information Security department.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive information security strategies across the Asia Pacific region.
• Coordinate with global teams to oversee the execution of security projects and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with both internal and external information security requirements and policies.
• Identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance at the executive level regarding security standards and risk management.
• Liaise with stakeholders to build a strong understanding of current and emerging cyber risks.
• Direct incident response planning as well as the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches.

Key Skills

• At least 15 years of experience in Information Security
• Expertise with SecOps and/or Security Architecture
• Strong understanding of complex IT infrastructures, including cloud security frameworks and multi-vendor environments.
• Excellent strategic planning, communication, and presentation skills, particularly in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and information security standards specific to the Financial Services industry.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-cultural teams within a dynamic and diverse environment.
