Our healthcare startup client is on the lookout for a strategic and future-focused Chief Innovation Officer to lead transformative digital initiatives in the global healthcare space. What You'll Do:
As Chief Innovation Officer, you'll spearhead technical innovation across the organization, leading the design and delivery of impactful digital strategies. You'll play a key role in integrating emerging technologies into operational and strategic initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and organizational performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving Innovation: Scan the horizon for breakthrough technologies and trends, and develop solutions that tackle critical challenges in health outcomes measurement and patient care
- Strategic Digital Planning: Craft and execute a forward-thinking digital roadmap that aligns with organizational goals-boosting impact, efficiency, and engagement
- Tech Ecosystem Leadership: Collaborate across leadership and technical teams to optimize systems and tools that support long-term innovation
- Partnership & Collaboration: Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with health tech vendors, healthcare institutions, and data stakeholders to drive value-based innovation
- Insights & Intelligence: Lead the development of analytics capabilities that transform data into actionable insights-fueling decisions, innovation, and progress
- Culture of Innovation: Champion a mindset of continuous improvement, digital adoption, and organizational agility. Guide cross-functional teams in embracing and executing change
- Governance & Risk Oversight: Ensure all initiatives comply with relevant standards and regulations, especially those relating to privacy, data protection, and digital healthcare
What You Bring:
- A degree in computer science, IT, business administration, or a related field (advanced qualifications preferred).
- A solid background in digital transformation and innovation, ideally within the healthcare sector
- 3-5 years' Senior Leadership experience within Technology/Digital
- Experience scaling Healthcare related startups would be highly desirable
- Familiarity with outcome-based healthcare and patient-centered care models
- Strong experience managing digital platforms, data ecosystems, and tech infrastructure
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strategic vision coupled with sharp execution capabilities and project management experience
- A track record of managing multiple digital initiatives simultaneously and effectively
- Deep understanding of digital compliance, security protocols, and best practices
- A genuine commitment to improving healthcare and patient outcomes
