My client is looking for an Information Security Cloud Specialist who can assess and enhance our cloud security configurations across Azure IaaS environments. This role is ideal for someone eager to make a real impact in securing cloud infrastructures and guiding best practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and strengthen security configurations within Azure IaaS.
- Provide expert security recommendations aligned with industry standards and emerging threat landscapes.
- Administer and secure Azure environments, including IaaS, container security (e.g., AKS), and DevOps pipelines.
- Evaluate Terraform scripts and advise on secure automation practices.
- Leverage Azure Defender and other monitoring tools to enhance threat detection.
- Implement Conditional Access policies to enforce zero trust and least privilege principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security efforts with operational objectives.
Key skills:
- Experience: Proven background in cloud security, especially within Azure IaaS and Google Cloud environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing compute, network, and storage resources, with hands-on experience in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Tools Expertise: Familiarity with Azure Defender, Conditional Access security tools.
- Certifications: Cloud and security certifications such as Azure Security Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer are a plus.
