My client, a Boutique Private Equity firm is looking for a Corporate Accountant to join their expanding team to assist with the accounting of management companies. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in monthly financial close and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Preparing monthly consolidates financial statements in accordance to US GAAP
- Accurate completion of general ledger review, monthly journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Review of AP & AR batched
- facilitating process improvement
- Working across internal teams and departments
- Ad-hoc projects and requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least 1-3 years of experience in financial service industry, fund administration, or public accounting firm.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
