Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage a range of corporate actions, including voluntary and mandatory events like exchanges, consents, tenders, stock splits, mergers, acquisitions, and conversions
- Work closely with relevant internal groups to ensure all necessary decisions and actions are received and executed in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate processing and proper recording of corporate actions within internal systems, with attention to accurate posting for trading and reporting purposes.
- Foster and manage strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners \
- Develop and manage work flows and procedures designed to optimise operational efficiency, controls, and risk management in the corporate actions process.
- Oversee and support the development and coaching of direct reports
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in corporate actions, preferably with a focus on asset management or financial services.
- Experience in managing a team is necessary
- Understanding of different types of financial transactions, including taxable and non-taxable events.
- Proficient in financial data tools such as Bloomberg and Advent Geneva
- Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and their associated processes, including trading and settlements.
