We are collaborating with a leading multinational company to find an experienced Corporate Secretary with a minimum of 8 years in the field. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of company law and corporate governance, and will play a key role in supporting the growth of the team.
The role involves overseeing various company secretarial duties, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and upholding the highest corporate governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage company formations and dissolutions, board resolutions, powers of attorney, approvals, regulatory filings, and statutory registers. Ensure timely compliance with each company's jurisdiction.
- Coordinate with both local and international Company Secretaries for the above-mentioned tasks.
- Administer and maintain company files and documents within the Diligent Entities database.
- Assist with monitoring key performance indicators and provide necessary reports and updates.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including record maintenance.
- Take on additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferably an ICSA qualification or a recognized professional or tertiary qualification.
- At least 8 years of corporate secretarial experience, with a focus on company law and corporate governance.
- In-depth understanding of statutory obligations in Singapore and other relevant jurisdictions.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with compliance and anti-money laundering regulations is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and initiative.
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure.
