This prestigious institution is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated CTI (Threat Intelligence Analyst) to join their innovative Information Technology team on an unlimited contract.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Proactively search for, identify, and help to rectify stealthy threats that evade existing security solutions.
• Utilise operation security practices to analyse network traffic, identify vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks before breaches occur.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to develop threat-hunting strategies and improve defence mechanisms.
• Prepare detailed documentation surrounding incidents and threats including analysis reports, recommendations, and mitigation strategies.
• Implement and maintain security tools and solutions to aid in the detection and prevention of security threats.

Key Skills:

• Expert proficiency in Operation Security practices and protocols.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and patterns that are indicative of malicious activities.
• Experience in using security tools and solutions such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).
• Excellent communication skills to effectively report and advise on threat findings.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages is a strong asset.
• Fluency in German (C1) level is essential for this position.

This position offers a large amount of work from home flexibility, only needing 1 day per week in the office.
