Job Function Summary
The Financial Planning and Analysis ("FP&A") team plays a crucial role in providing economic insights and decision-making support to the senior leadership team, which in turn drives the financial performance of the company. We are seeking an individual with strong analytical experience, ideally within the financial services industry, to develop and enhance analytical frameworks that support more informed decision-making.
The successful candidate will join the new Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy (FRAP) team in Dublin in an FP&A-specific role, providing support to the wider FP&A teams in London and New York, with occasional involvement in financial reporting tasks when needed.
Principal Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly financial dashboards for senior management, reflecting actual results and comparing them to forecasts/budgets.
* Analyse current and historical trends in revenue, expenses, and other key performance indicators to improve the design and accuracy of financial forecasts.
* Play an active role in the firm's annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working with leadership to incorporate business initiatives.
* Develop financial analyses that add value to decision-making and the assessment of business performance.
* Collaborate with business units to create financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, such as product expansion economics.
* Participate in team-wide projects, with the autonomy to innovate and develop new approaches to analysing business performance.
* Work closely with the broader Finance organisation, Risk, Corporate Strategy, and HR teams on firm-wide initiatives.
* Work alongside FRAP team Analysts and support financial reporting tasks as needed.
Qualifications/Skills Required
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (preferred).
* 2+ years of experience in an FP&A role, ideally within the financial services sector.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of macros and VBA is a plus).
