🌟 About the Role:
As a Finance Specialist, you'll contribute to a large-scale transformation focused on enhancing the financial close process and improving internal reporting across multiple markets. You'll work closely with finance, actuarial, and technology teams to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment across regional and local functions.
🧾 Key Responsibilities:
Deliver finance workstream activities in collaboration with local and regional teams.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, tax schedules, and client reporting packages.
Support enhancements to reporting processes, internal documentation, and training.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP, and internal actuarial/accounting standards.
Analyse financial data and trends to provide insights to key stakeholders.
Partner with audit and compliance teams to strengthen internal control frameworks.
✅ What You'll Bring:
6-8 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on finance, accounting, or audit.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or actuarial certification highly valued.
Strong understanding of financial reporting cycles and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Hyperion, or Moody's; IFRS 17/4 experience is a strong plus.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Exposure to process improvement or project methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is advantageous.
