Our client, a global Investment Bank who are in high growth mode and have amassed more than 30 Billion on their Balance sheet have a newly created position within their Financial Crime function reporting directly into the function Head and will encompass a varied day-to-day focusing on but not limited to the following;
- Monitor and review changes in AML, ATF, ABAC, and Sanctions regulations, with a particular emphasis on European legislation and regulatory guidance, including the EU AML Package.
- Lead the completion of annual AML, Sanctions, and ABAC risk assessments.
- Proactively escalate and manage significant AML issues and events to resolution.
- Oversee the Gifts and Entertainment pre-approval and monitoring process.
- Contribute to the development of FCRM policies and procedures for Global and Ireland, including drafting, updating, and issuing.
- Conduct Quality Assurance on automated transaction monitoring reviews performed by Head Office
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Financial Crime, Anti-Money Laundering or Trade Surveillance experience. Te successful candidate will also have worked within a large multinational Investment Bank/Financial Service or consultancy environment.
