As a Network Security Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. The key responsibilities include:
- Working in a post sale environment, designing custom solutions for your clients.
- Creating network / security architectures for different clients.
- Working in a structured way which allows you to consult your clients on their decision making processes and give effective technical expertise.
- Analysing existing security systems and offering recommendations for enhancements
- Developing project timelines for ongoing system upgrades and maintaining detailed reports on security breaches and the extent of their impact
Key Skills:
The ideal candidate for the Network Security Consultant position will possess the following skills:
- Circa 5 years experience as a network or security consultant, engineer or architect.
- Proven expertise in various network security protocols and techniques (fire walling, network architecture, load balancing etc.).
- Strong analytically skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills that cater to a variety of audiences, including technical team members and executive management.
- Fluency in German (C1 level) is essential for this position
This is a permanent position on an unlimited contract and can be done mainly remotely (there is 0 expectation to every have to go to the company offices and only occasionally to client sites).
