Position: Head of Accounting - Financial Markets & Treasury
Location: Amsterdam
Compensation: €111,061 to €155,981 (based on a 40-hour workweek, all-inclusive)

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned leader for the role of Head of Accounting in our Financial Markets & Treasury division. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting processes and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of profit and loss statements, as well as balance sheets for various entities. You will manage a diverse, cross-border team and engage with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.

The operations division is undergoing a transformation to become more scalable, digital, and resilient, with three key areas of focus:

• Digital Transformation: Streamlining processes to provide a seamless digital experience for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all accounting activities within your division, including risk management and control functions, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to your team, fostering professional development and overseeing performance management.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure the department operates in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Current residency in the Netherlands with a Master's degree and over 10 years of experience in financial services, particularly in accounting and financial reporting.
• Expertise in IFRS and financial regulations, especially in the context of financial markets and treasury products.
• Proven leadership skills with a strong focus on team-building, collaboration, and customer-centric service delivery.
