Our client, a leading global bank, is seeking to hire an Audit Manager, Technology for their audit team in the United States.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of assigned audit execution, preparation of audit reports, and review of work performed by the supervised employees. They will lead a team focused on assigned audits, providing supervision and assignments to team members as the Auditor In Charge. This includes reviewing work papers completed by staff, drafting audit reports, and planning audits. The candidate will also be involved in direct communication with management regarding audit scope, status, and findings.

The hiring manager is looking for a professional who can effectively work independently while also providing on-the-job training for staff and handling special projects. This role involves providing feedback on staff performance, updating and improving existing audit procedures, and adding value through consultative interactions with business line management.

Successful applicants will have:

• A 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related Audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of audit principles and practices, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to delegate work, make decisions, and follow through.
• Certification is highly preferred or a willingness to pursue certification.
• Preferred qualifications include an IT Audit/IT Risk Management professional designation (e.g., CISA) and experience with COSO and COBIT Frameworks.
• Knowledge of the US regulatory framework is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 25% or more.
