Oliver James are currently partnered with a pensions consultancy firm on the appointment of a new lead supporting scheme actuary. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with great experience advising trustees to take the next step in their career and work towards being a fully fledged scheme actuary.

The ideal candidate will be:

• FIA
• 10 + years working with defined benefit pensions
• Already working towards or certified as a scheme actuary
• Experienced with public sector schemes

If you are not fully qualified as an actuary please do not apply as you will not be considered for this role.

This role will give you the opportunity to support a portfolio of schemes by developing actuarial policies in relation to occupational pension scheme valuations, financial reporting and pensions legislative developments.You will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, pitch to new clients and win new business and contribute to the overall strategy of the team.
