Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage Commercial pricing, forecasting, and reserving
- Maintain and understand the changing health care actuarial trends and how they impact the work of pricing and valuation
- Stay up to date on government regulations, analytic techniques, and methodologies
- Support a small team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation
- Experience with Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid revenue methologilies
- Experience certifying Commercial Rate Filing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of handling complex data sets to derive meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present economic information clearly to non-specialists.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical and data analysis tools and software commonly used in the industry.
- Proactive and collaborative work style; success in working in team environments.
