Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in general insurance to lead and oversee critical projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, along with deep industry knowledge to drive successful delivery of projects aligned with business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution:

    • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as the primary point of contact between business units, technical teams, and external vendors.
    • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business needs.
  • Risk & Issue Management:

    • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks.
    • Proactively address project issues and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams.
    • Mentor and support team members to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  • Industry-Specific Focus:

    • Leverage knowledge of general insurance products, processes, and regulations to inform project strategies.
    • Implement solutions to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Communication:

    • Track project performance using appropriate metrics and tools.
    • Prepare regular status reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Insurance, or a related field.
    • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
  • Experience:

    • Proven track record of managing projects in the general insurance domain.
    • Familiarity with insurance software systems, underwriting, claims processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
    • Basic understanding of data analytics or digital transformation initiatives in insurance.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
