IT Project Manager in insurance

Responsibilities
- Structure and actively organise IT projects related to the organisation's insurance applications.
- Define project scope in collaboration with key stakeholders, identify solutions, establish implementation plans, and allocate resources/budgets while maintaining a high-level perspective.
- Coordinate, organise, and monitor project activities based on priorities, team expertise, and client needs.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members to foster an efficient and high-performing project team.
- Manage multiple simultaneous IT projects of varying sizes (small to medium).
- Maintain an overview of projects, report on progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare regular progress reports detailing achievements, challenges, decisions, and next steps, ensuring accurate and comprehensive project documentation throughout its life cycle.
Profile
- 5 to 10 years of experience in IT project management.
- Proven experience in the insurance sector.
- Fluency in French and/or Dutch and English, with a solid understanding of the second national language.
- Strong communication skills with an analytical mindset and ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Team-oriented with a results-driven approach.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies Agile.
