Career Opportunity: Risk Reporting Governance - Senior Manager


Our client, a stalwart in the Insurance industry, seeks a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Risk Reporting Governance - Senior Manager within their dynamic Risk team. This is a superb opportunity for someone looking to advance their career and making a difference/impact.
The role will be focused on uplifting (including re-looking/re-writing) Risk reporting standards, processes and frameworks within the organization across the Asia Pacific region.
This will be a highly visible role within the organization, working collaboratively with multiple teams across multiple locations.
This role can be based in Hongkong or Singapore.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk reporting frameworks to guide all risk reporting activities.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in risk reporting, adhering strictly to industry regulations and company standards.
  • Lead collaborations with stakeholders to refine risk reporting processes and systems ensuring they are effective and efficient.
  • Provide strategic leadership in managing and analysing trends in risk data, forecasting potential impacts
  • Maintain robust internal controls within the risk reporting processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.
  • Deliver timely and relevant risk reports to senior management and relevant governance committees.

Key Skills:

  • More than 7years in Second Line of Defense Risk processes with significant experience in the Insurance sector and/or Asset Management sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience in improving frameworks and policies related to risk management and reporting.
