About the Role
As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while contributing to the overall financial stability of the bank. Based in our Amsterdam office, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and external auditors to deliver accurate and timely reporting. You will join a close-knit team of approximately eight professionals, working together to achieve reporting excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including FINREP, COREP, and other relevant frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with European banking regulations, including those set by the ECB and DNB.
- Analyze and interpret financial and regulatory data to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve reporting processes and implement new regulatory requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory reporting, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure their timely implementation.
What We Are Looking For
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking, financial services sector or Big 4.
- Strong expertise in FINREP and COREP frameworks.
- A solid accounting background, with proficiency in IFRS and other relevant standards.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (Dutch is a plus).
