Oliver James is proud to partner with a global leader in the insurance industry to recruit for an accomplished Risk Manager. We are seeking experienced professionals with a strong background in risk management who are eager to take on a dynamic role within a multinational insurance group.
This exciting role will focus on enterprise risk management across key international segments. The position offers extensive interaction with senior management and various finance and risk functions at both Group Head Office and segment levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the production of the ORSA report and key components of the ORSA process.
Manage the development and implementation of the Recovery and Resolution planning process.
Oversee a top risk assessment process, ensuring an assurance-focused approach to risk evaluation and control frameworks.
Drive the development of the risk policy suite, including risk appetite frameworks and risk indicators.
Support oversight of Solvency II production and reporting requirements.
Ensure effective risk identification, reporting, and management of incidents.
Deliver high-quality reports for the Executive Management Team, Risk Committee, and Board of Directors.
Assist in regulatory inspections and risk assessments conducted by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Represent the Risk function in various forums and committees.
Provide risk management support for business units on ad-hoc projects.
Maintain oversight of new business and IT projects, ensuring that emerging risks are identified and addressed.
Lead and support risk initiatives across the wider group.
Who You Are:
Minimum five years' experience in risk management, preferably within General Insurance in a global organisation.
Strong technical knowledge of Solvency II requirements and Solvency Capital Requirements.
A minimum 2.1 result in a relevant degree.
A qualification in Accountancy, Actuarial Science, or Risk Management is an advantage.
Strong insurance background with a proven ability to understand and oversee risk management functions.
