Senior Reinsurance Accountant
Our client, a leading (re)Insurance specialty lines carrier, currently seeking a strong Senior Accountant to join their Finance team.Role & Responsibilities:
- Support the Month-End, Quarter-End, Year-End Reinsurance Reporting process
- Communicate with Accounting & Finance team about reports
- Perform financial analysis and reporting related to reinsurance transactions
- Collaborate with the reinsurance contract team to help understand process improvement
- Understand settlement and negotiation of reinsurance contracts
Key Skills:
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of Insurance specific accounting experience
- Understanding of US-GAAP and Statutory Financial Reporting
- Familiarity with Reinsurance reporting
- Ability to problem-solve and work well with team
