- Negotiate settlements and authorise payments within a specified dollar limit.
- Collaborate closely with legal counsel on litigation strategies for complex general liability cases.
- Prepare reports by collecting and summarising information required by client, agencies, or as necessary for claim resolution.
- Facilitate meetings to discuss and resolve claims efficiently.
- Stay updated on the industry trends, legal changes and policy adjustments that may affect claims processing.

- Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster, particularly within the fields of General Liability and Litigation.
- Strong analytical abilities and financial skills.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve claims fairly.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised.
- Capability to work independently and make judicious decisions about claim handling.
