The Senior Claims Manager, Garage will lead the BI Division in the Garage Unit managing a team of up to 6. The policies written are garage, BI, property, auto damage and are written up to the millions. To be successful in this role you will have 10+ years claims experience, 7+ years leadership experience, and multi-state experience.
- The right candidate will have Commercial Garage or Auto & Commercial Liability background with a strong emphasis on Bodily Injury Litigation - ideally someone who is managing a Litigation BI Complex Claims Unit within the Garage Unit
- Complexity of claims range from minor car accidents to major car accidents, slip and falls in auto dealerships/parking lots/auto garage
- Need to have strong letter writing skills (RORs, deck letters, etc)
- Strong coverage analysis because their policies are specialized and policies in the million-dollar range
- Needs to be extremely knowledgeable on litigation and bodily injury - they have a legal team and legal representatives that they work with but this person needs to be well versed in this area
