A leading P&C carrier is looking to hire a Senior Claims Specialist - Commercial Auto for their TPA oversight team. In this senior technical role, you will be responsible for providing oversight on a caseload of complex commercial auto bodily injury claims that are being handled by a panel of TPAs. You will provide claims guidance, litigation and coverage advice to ensure claims are being handled in line with time and quality expectations for the carrier.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 5+ years commercial auto bodily injury claims experience essential (gained at an insurance carrier)
- Direct experience handling complex, large losses above $100,000 in value
- Excellent knowledge of wide ranging bodily injury types including complex matters
- Knowledge of non-standard auto claims including UM/UIM claims
- Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential (including writing own coverage letters/RORs)
- Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
- The ability to act as a technical lead and provide advice to other adjusters
- Experience managing TPA relationships - highly preferred
- Bachelors Degree and Adjuster License in multiple states
This role is on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office per week) from Atlanta GA, Chicago IL, Hartford CT, NYC or NJ. The role has an excellent base salary range from $104,000-$144,000 + 10-15% annual bonus.
