Job Role: Senior Fund Accountant
Role & Responsibilities:
Our client, a growing fund administration firm with a focus in Private Equity & Private Credit, seeking a highly motivated Senior Fund Accountant to join their expanding team remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Reporting including capital calls, waterfalls, distributions, and carried interest
- Prepare quarterly reports and review general ledger
- Assist with financial statements, tax preparation, and projects
- Collaborate with auditors with year-end audit
- Coordinate fund tax returns including K-1s
- Understand Operating Agreements & LPAs
- Adhoc reporting as requested
- Client inquiries
Key Skills:
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field (Masters & CPA a plus)
- 2-6 years of private equity/private credit sector
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office particularly Excel
- Experience with Investran (a plus)
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Sound knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling
