Job Opportunity: Senior .Net Engineer
Our client, a well-established leader in the Insurance industry, is looking for a skilled .Net Engineer to join their Information Technology team. This is a contract position where the successful candidate will contribute to backend development projects, aimed at enhancing client solutions and internal systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions using .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with project teams to design robust architectures for software systems.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Assist in the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Document development phases and monitor systems to ensure they meet both internal and client needs.
Key Skills
- Proficient in .NET, .NET Core and familiar with the common libraries and framework associated with it.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.
- Experience in developing backend systems and APIs.
- 5 years' SQL Server Database Development experience; Experience with large datasets and data warehouse experience is a plus
- Experience with Azure/AWS
- Strong UI design and development skills with deep appreciate of UX/usability and designing performant and responsive interfaces. Experience with WPF an advantage
- Ability to write clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
