Position Overview:
As a Software Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and architecting complex software solutions. You will lead the technical direction for software development while ensuring best practices and design patterns are adhered to. This is a permanent role that offers a unique opportunity to influence key decisions and work on challenging, high-impact projects within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and design of complex software systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Develop and maintain robust, efficient, and secure RESTful APIs for integration with other systems.
- Implement N-Tier architectures, ensuring the separation of concerns and modular design.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.
- Design and enforce CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Leverage Azure cloud services to design scalable and resilient cloud-based solutions.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software design, development, and testing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in C#/.NET Development with deep expertise in software design and architecture.
- Strong experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of N-Tier architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery and automation.
- Strong experience using GIT for version control and collaboration.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and working in an agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working within the Financial Services sector.
- Exposure to other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with Microservices architecture.
