Overview
Join our dynamic Portfolio team as a Scrum Master, where you'll play a pivotal role in leading a project focused on policy fulfillment and underwriting automation. This multi-year program is set to commence in January 2025, with a commitment of 2-3 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile Processes: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and team alignment.
- Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of project milestones, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, managing expectations and facilitating change when necessary.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor team performance using metrics and KPIs, providing feedback and guidance to enhance productivity.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, ensuring team members are utilized to their full potential.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any team conflicts or challenges promptly to maintain a productive working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage and implement best practices for Agile methodologies, fostering an environment of learning and adaptation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to ensure cohesive project advancement.
- Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible, facilitating transparency and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience of 5+ years in managing Agile or hybrid projects in a Scrum Master capacity.
- Certifications: MUST hold Agile certifications (SAFe and equivalent), Scrum Master and PMP certifications.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Cantonese is required.
- Technical Background: Preferably with experience in the insurance and banking sectors.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mature a team without formal teaching responsibilities.
