Our International Banking client is seeking to hire a Third Party Risk Manager for their City Centre offices.

Key part of the role will be as follows:

  • The third party risk management (TPRM) role is a critical activity in the first-line of defence to ensure that all contracts for our respective regions (Ireland and UK), be it external and internal intra-group arrangements, are effectively risk managed to meet their European and UK regulatory requirements.
  • The role holder will be responsible for ensuring effective governance through leading our TPRM risk meetings across Ireland and UK, providing leadership to the region by ensuring that the procedure are followed in compliance with the TPRM risk framework, collaborating closely with the Contract Owners across the business and Control & Support Functions to ensure that the requirements and expectation are adhered and ensuring complete and accurate submissions of our risk registers to the respective regulatory bodies, CBI in Ireland PRA in UK.
  • Core accountabilities will include chairing TPRM committees and related secretarial duties, supporting and guiding Contract Owners throughout the lifecycle (onboard, maintain, offboard), provide MI including KRIs/KPIs and other metrics to track status at governance; Plan, communicate, coordinate and deliver outsourcing register and underlying details supporting Chief Operating Officers regulatory obligations.
  • As the lead for the region, the role holder will be expected to take on broader responsibilities including training, perform testing and leading risk assessments, collaborate and support all stakeholders across the three lies of defence, lead audits and provide necessary reporting and other ad-hoc related activities to ensure an effective TPRM framework is managed effectively. The role holder will have one direct report.

The candidate will likely have:

  • Prior experience in a similar role in Banking/FS
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
