AVP or VP level candidate required by a highly successful global insurance organisation, offering an excellent package, long term career opportunities and a chance to make an impact in a senior leadership role!

The role:

• Manage the team of 6 underwriters in Singapore alongside hands on technical underwriting work and strategic projects (approx. 50/50 split)
• Portfolio management (USD 50m+ book)
• Cover a wide range of Property risks (Heavy industry through to real estate)
• Cover Asia region

Requirements:

• Strong technical experience underwriting large and complex Property risks
• 10+ years experience (AVP) or 15+ years experience (VP)
• Strong team management and mentoring ability
• Strong portfolio management experience
• Experienced dealing with brokers
• Strategic project experience
• Ideally Asia market experience (can still consider candidates from outside Asia also)
