Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workload Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration of workload automation tools such as UC4, Branchstone, Atomic, etc. The primary focus will be on utilizing Python or other scripting languages to build tasks and schedules within the system.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Administer and maintain workload automation tools including but not limited to UC4, Branchstone, Atomic, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and design efficient solutions.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using Python or other scripting languages to build tasks, workflows, and schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workload automation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on workload automation tools and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in workload automation to continuously improve systems and processes.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in administering workload automation tools such as UC4, Branchstone, Atomic, etc.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc.
- Solid understanding of job scheduling concepts and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Certification in workload automation tools (e.g., UC4 Certified Engineer).
