Our client, a leading insurance company, is seeking two Business Systems Analysts to join their stable team and work on upcoming large-scale projects.
The project is about Life and Health products features in the Policy Admin system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the setup for insurance product in relation to rates setup, pricing, product features, underwriting rules, policy servicing and new policy issuance.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to product life cycle management
- analyze existing systems and process to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Create detailed use cases and user stories to communicate requirements to development teams
- Act as a liaison between business units, offshore development team to ensure alignment on target deliverables
- Align with the off team on the resource plan and upskill the capability of the team to match with the expectation in HK team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business System Analyst with a strong focus on product development and policy administration systems
- In-depth understanding of insurance products, policy lifecycle and regulatory requirements within industry
- Familiarity with system development methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfalls and tools
- Familiar with SQL, Oracle or DB2 database
- Strong understanding of the setup for insurance product in relation to rates setup, pricing, product features, underwriting rules, policy servicing and new policy issuance
- Strong in English and Cantonese
