The Head of Pricing and Underwriting Analytics will lead the development of strategic pricing initiatives, build tools for risk optimization, and ensure alignment with broader business goals. Reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer, this role encompasses a wide scope of responsibilities across multiple business functions and phases, from planning and execution to deployment and evaluation.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and manage the pricing team and be responsible for the development and refinement of pricing and underwriting models, ensuring alignment with business goals and competitive positioning.
Provide clear insights and expert guidance on pricing strategies, leveraging data analysis to support decision-making, including monitoring key market trends and competitor pricing strategy.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align pricing initiatives with strategic objectives and promote advanced analytical methodologies and represent the analytics function internally and externally.
Partner with data and technology teams to integrate analytical outputs into decision-making processes. Establish and stablish and uphold best practices for analytics, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
