Our Client is a leading insurer and they are currently looking for a ILP Financial Reporting Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist the Head of Financial Reporting in managing the financial reporting function for investment-linked products (ILP) and ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of all related reporting outputs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual ILP reporting deliverable, including regulatory submissions to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
  • Coordinate the semi-annual ILP fund report and work closely with external auditors.
  • Maintain relationships with external auditors, MAS regulators, and internal stakeholders regarding ILP-related inquiries.
  • Support the launch of new products or funds by providing relevant ILP requirements and participating in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency within the ILP financial reporting function.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA) with a minimum of 6 years of experience in ILP financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting regulations, including MAS reporting standards and IFRS.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
  • Highly motivated, delivery-focused, and skilled in problem-solving.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

  • Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end process for ILP financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments to achieve optimal outcomes for the business and customers.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and MAS regulations, particularly MAS 307.
  • Proficient in Oracle accounting systems and policy systems, including AS400.
  • Awareness of industry best practices to continuously enhance departmental delivery.
