I am looking to speak with a skilled and versatile MDM Product Lead to join a London-based client's team. This role sits at the crossroads of business strategy and product management, and requires expertise in Agile methodologies, data governance, and Master Data Management (MDM). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and executing corporate account data policies, processes, and systems to ensure the accurate and governed use of master data across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Management: Define and manage product features, epics, and development road-maps. Collaborate with the product management team to align data solutions with business objectives.
- Data Management: Oversee the collection, verification, and consolidation of corporate account data, ensuring data accuracy through integration with third-party verification sources.
- Governance & Policy Implementation: Partner with governance teams to establish policies for data usage and accessibility, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory data standards.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with business sponsors to identify and resolve data-related challenges, particularly in the context of the insurance sector.
- Agile Delivery: Drive the iterative delivery of data products and solutions within an Agile framework.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders across underwriting, governance, and data teams to align strategic and technical objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in product management within Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) projects and data governance practices.
- Experience managing corporate account data, including integration with external verification sources.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in complex data environments.
- Ability to translate business needs into actionable product solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance industry, particularly Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
- Background in financial services or other regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale data initiatives and governance frameworks.
