We're seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Product Development Specialist to support our Product Lead in shaping the future of life and health products for a reputable insurance client of ours. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative product solutions, drive market insights, and help enhance the customer experience across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Insights & Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new product trends, emerging customer needs, and competitive opportunities. Provide in-depth analysis to inform product development and recommendations.
Product Strategy & Development: Monitor market trends and evaluate product propositions to support the creation of innovative, competitive products. Collaborate with focus groups and customers to refine ideas and gather feedback.
Product Specifications & Presentations: Draft and update detailed product specifications, and create engaging product presentations for approval by the Life and Health Executive Committee.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders from distribution, operations, actuarial, and product marketing to integrate inputs, resolve challenges, and drive smooth product implementation.
Launch & Training Support: Develop training materials, product summaries, fact sheets, and FAQs for new product launches. Oversee communication and announcements, ensuring clarity and impact.
Post-Launch Monitoring: Take ownership of post-launch monitoring to ensure the product performs as expected, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Regulatory & Compliance Management: Stay on top of regulatory requirements and ensure product development complies with industry standards.
Marketing & Performance Support: Assist in evaluating and refining product marketing materials, campaigns, and performance reviews, contributing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
A degree in any field with 7-10 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in life and health product development, pricing, and proposition development.
Strong expertise in Singapore health products and regulatory frameworks, with a solid understanding of the latest market developments.
Proven track record in product development, business analysis, and project implementation in the life and health insurance space.
In-depth knowledge of life and health insurance products; insurance qualifications are a plus.
Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work seamlessly with diverse stakeholders and teams.
