Oliver James is representing a specialized P&C carrier that's in the market for a Reinsurance Finance Manager. The role with be a one stop shop for all things reinsurance accounting and operations within the business. You'll be responsible for interpreting and administering all reinsurance programs and will be an integral piece in administering new reinsurance programs along with general accounting activities related to reinsurance billing and collateral.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who's looking to be involved in the entire reinsurance accounting process and has excellent leadership skills who's able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting operations specifically related to reinsurance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies pertinent to reinsurance.
- Prepare, analyze, and present periodic financial reports to management detailing reinsurance transactions and their impact.
- Prepare Schedule F in support of the annual statutory statement.
- Enhance financial systems and frameworks to better accommodate reinsurance processes.
- Collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to optimize reinsurance strategies.
- Manage and mentor team members within the reinsurance finance sector, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
