The Senior Claims Adjuster will be responsible for managing and assessing general liability claims, including those with moderate levels of exposure and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage general liability claims related to property damage and bodily injury by investigating details, gathering relevant information, and determining the potential risk associated with each claim. Ensure efficient and effective claims resolution through well-structured action plans.
• Identify potential coverage issues, create thorough coverage letters with supervisory review, and consult with coverage counsel when needed.
• Assess liability and resolve claims according to established evaluation criteria. Maintain accurate records and ensure tasks are completed within set time frames in line with department standards. Ensure proper documentation of claim files, providing detailed analysis on coverage, damages, reserves, and liability, including an action plan for resolution. Process and pay invoices promptly.
• Manage vendor referrals for further investigation or litigation management. Establish and track appropriate reserves, ensuring their accuracy throughout the claims process. * Refer complex cases to supervisors and management when necessary, and respond professionally and promptly to requests and instructions.
• Attend arbitration's, mediation's, settlement conferences, and trials as needed.
• Complete all required State licensing exams and continuing education.
