Senior Manager/ Associate Director - Insurance (POS/Sales)

We are seeking a SM/AD with a strong background in Agile methodologies and extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly in new product development. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder management, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Exceptional communication skills are essential for conveying project updates and requirements effectively. Familiarity with POS systems is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team focused on the development of new products, including POS systems and online sales platforms.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including product teams and offshore development teams.
  • Prioritise tasks and manage time lines effectively during product launches.
  • Drive automation efforts to improve team efficiency and reduce manual processes.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of product features in the insurance sector.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with POS systems is required
  • Proven vendor management experience, capable of overseeing the entire product development journey.
  • Strong ability to handle pressure and effectively manage tight deadlines.
  • Project management experience, particularly in Agile methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with various senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Chinese (Cantonese).
