An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Analyst with expertise in Workforce Planning Systems to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team. As part of an end-user organisation, you will play a crucial role in driving the improvement and development of their planning systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with advanced planning tools, and support the design, testing, and deployment of new solutions.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Systems Analyst, with a focus on workforce planning systems or similar domains.
- Strong understanding of workforce planning tools and systems, ideally with hands-on experience managing and improving platforms like FLS and D365 CRM. Experience with similar systems is also highly advantageous.
- Expertise in managing improvement backlogs, governance, and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in testing, deployment, and supporting complex system changes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including operations teams, IT architects, and product experts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Technical proficiency in workforce planning systems, with the ability to provide high-level support and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Backlog Management: Curate and manage the improvement backlog for workforce planning systems, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Governance Coordination: Collaborate with the governance board to prioritise and select initiatives for development.
- Solution Design & Build: Support the design and implementation of system improvements, working with cross-functional teams.
- Testing: Plan and manage testing throughout the solution delivery process, ensuring quality and functionality.
- Acceptance Testing: Coordinate with operations teams for acceptance testing and smooth handover.
- Deployment: Oversee the successful deployment of changes, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and act on opportunities to enhance systems and processes.
- Support: Provide Level 2/3 expert support for planning systems as needed.
