Responsibilities:
- Lead the development team in backend and frontend applications using Java, J2EE, Kubernetes, Docker, and preferably AWS.
- Design and optimize databases; implement APIs, web services, and microservices using REST/JSON.
- Create intuitive UI/UX designs with Angular, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Conduct unit testing, ensure code quality, and work in continuous integration environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and international teams to adapt to changing requirements.
- Oversee system architecture and software design patterns.
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Use DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube for version control and code quality.
- Ensure technical designs meet business needs.
- Coach developers and review key deliverables.
- Support system integration per data interface specifications.
- Prepare technical materials and standards; support SIT and UAT.
- Lead developers to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in Java, J2EE, Kubernetes, Docker, ideally on AWS.
- Strong understanding of Java collections frameworks.
- Proven experience in developing REST/JSON APIs and microservices.
- Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, and MVC frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing, continuous integration, and Agile development.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability to changing requirements.
- Technical knowledge in Swagger & API design, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, and RESTful API design.
- Proficient in English; Cantonese is a plus.
