We are seeking a UAT Tester with Point of Sale (POS) experience to join a critical POS upgrade project in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and experience working with POS systems in an insurance or financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the POS upgrade, ensuring system functionality aligns with business requirements.
- Develop, execute, and document test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with business users, developers, and project managers to ensure smooth testing and implementation.
- Conduct regression testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing to validate system performance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure a seamless transition to the upgraded POS system.
- Provide detailed UAT reports and recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and previous experience with POS testing is preferable
- Familiarity with insurance policy transactions, claims processing, or underwriting workflows.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with business and technical teams
- Fluent in Cantonese and English
