Business Solution Manager



Business Solution Manager Oliver James is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client in the Wealth/Asset Management industry, is seeking a talented and innovative Business Solution Manager to spearhead change management initiatives. Our client, a global leader in asset management, is dedicated to excellence and innovation in investment solutions. This role is a permanent position based in their corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Director in the planning, execution, and delivery of the Digital Wealth Platform implementation project.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical resources to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
  • Conduct thorough business analysis to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and requirement traceability matrices.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input from stakeholders and validate requirements.
  • Participate actively in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collaborating with business users to design test cases, execute testing, and document results.
  • Identify and resolve issues and roadblocks that arise during the project lifecycle, escalating to the Project Director as necessary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new processes and system functionalities post-implementation.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project management, business analysis, or a related field within the financial services or technology industries.
  • Proven experience in supporting project implementations, preferably in digital transformation or wealth management.

Desired Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in business analysis techniques and methodologies, as well as experience in using tools such as Excel, Visio, or similar.
  • Experience with UAT processes, including creating test scenarios, executing tests, and documenting results.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project) is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, adapting to changing project demands and timelines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues related to the financial services industry is advantageous.
