Chief Actuary - Commercial Lines
A unique opportunity to join a global P&C insurance company as a member of the Executive board.Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Chief Actuary to join their team, reporting into the CEO.
This pivotal role is a permanent position based at 2 potential locations on the East Coast, and offers a significant opportunity to contribute to the company's strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 2 x direct reports (with a view to grow the team in the future)
- Lead efforts in delivering commercial pricing strategies
- Product development coordination
- Manage reserving processes
- Reporting to stakeholders, assisting in strategic planning and risk assessment
- Drive new tools and technology implementation
Requirements:
- FCAS credentialed
- 10 + years of P&C actuarial experience
- Strong Commercial Lines experience (pricing and/or reserving)
- Previous C-Suite experience
- Excellent communication skills
