Position Overview:


The Senior Business Solutioning Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering innovative business solutions across various financial services offerings. This individual will work closely with business leaders, product managers, and technical teams to understand business needs and define comprehensive solutions that drive business growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex business challenges within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Strategy: Lead the development of business solutions by analyzing customer requirements and market trends, defining business cases, and creating scalable, sustainable solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, finance, and IT, to design and implement solutions that meet business needs and align with organizational goals.
  • Financial Services Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the financial services industry to propose innovative approaches to solving complex business challenges. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technologies to identify new opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their pain points, challenges, and needs, and propose tailored solutions that drive customer value and improve business outcomes.
  • Project Management: Lead solutioning efforts from inception through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring their development while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Ensure that all solutions comply with relevant financial regulations and internal risk management standards.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in business solutioning, consulting, or project management, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, services, and operations (e.g., retail banking, investment banking, insurance, wealth management).
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with C-suite executives and clients to develop business cases and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial modeling and analysis expertise.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other business management software.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean are a plus.
